Warranty Policy
MOZ Electronics backs every shipment with a One-Year Quality Guarantee. This page explains what the guarantee covers, what it excludes, and how to raise a claim.

One-Year Quality Guarantee
We warrant that components supplied by us will conform to the original manufacturer specification and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery. If a component fails to meet specification within that period, we will replace it or refund the purchase price at our option.
Counterfeit Avoidance
Components are sourced only from our approved supplier network, which is qualified and continuously monitored. Incoming stock is subject to inspection and quality control procedures including documentation and traceability checks, visual inspection, and, where appropriate, electrical testing. Any component confirmed to be counterfeit will be replaced or refunded in full, and the affected supplier is removed from our network.
What Is Covered
- Components that do not conform to the manufacturer datasheet specification.
- Defects in material or workmanship present at the time of delivery.
- Incorrect parts supplied against a confirmed order.
- Components confirmed as counterfeit or misrepresented.
- Damage in transit, provided it is reported within the timescale set out below.
What Is Not Covered
- Damage caused by improper handling, electrostatic discharge, incorrect soldering or rework, contamination, or exposure to conditions outside the rated limits.
- Failures resulting from use outside the manufacturer's published operating conditions, or from unsuitable circuit design or application.
- Components that have been modified, remarked, reprogrammed, or relabelled.
- Normal wear, or degradation of components with a limited shelf life beyond that life.
- Consequential loss of any kind, including loss of production, downtime, rework labour, or redesign cost. See our Terms of Service for the applicable limitation of liability.
Obsolete and End-of-Life Components
The One-Year Quality Guarantee also applies to obsolete and end-of-life components. Because these parts are no longer in production, the remedy for a valid claim will normally be a refund where an equivalent replacement cannot be sourced.
Transit Damage and Shortages
Inspect shipments on arrival. Visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, with photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and labels. Claims raised after this period may not be accepted by the carrier.
How to Make a Claim
- 1. Contact us. Email support@mozelectronics.com with your order number, part number, quantity affected, and a description of the issue.
- 2. Provide evidence. Include photographs of the parts and labels and, where available, test results or a failure analysis report.
- 3. Receive an RMA number. Do not return components before an RMA number has been issued. Returns received without one cannot be processed.
- 4. Return the components. Ship them in original packaging with antistatic protection intact, marking the RMA number clearly on the outside.
- 5. Resolution. Once received and verified, we will confirm the outcome and arrange replacement or refund. Verified claims include return shipping costs.
We aim to acknowledge every claim within one business day and to complete verification within 10 business days of receiving the returned components. Claims requiring independent laboratory analysis may take longer.
Manufacturer Warranties
Where a manufacturer offers a warranty that extends beyond this policy, we will assist you in pursuing that warranty. This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer or commercial law.
